Azure VM BS2m 8Gb RAM 2VCPUs, Explorer and copy and paste not working

VM has been working fine, but yesterday and today we can't open Windows Explorer on it (it just hangs) and we can't copy and paste files to it which we could previously.

Anyone got any ideas?

Please try below troubleshooting steps to see if that resolves the issue:
-Restart the VM: Sometimes, restarting the VM can resolve the issue.

-Check for any updates that need to be installed on the VM.

-Check the VM's resource utilization to ensure that it has enough resources to run Windows Explorer and other applications.

Also, try to stop the VM and change the SKU to next higher size available and start the VM to see if that helps.

Yes, tried all of that apart from the SKU part. Is that an Azure setting?

Changing the SKU of the Azure VM will give more CPU & RAM to the VM, this suggestion is just to ensure that the VM is having enough resources.

Please try the resize of VM and see if that helps.
Also, check if you are able open any other applications on the VM? and if you are able to copy and paste within the VM itself?
If these are not working as expected then it is issue with available resources within VM.
If these are working, then it could be issue with remote connection.

If all the provided troubleshooting steps are not able to resolve the issue, would recommend you to open a azure support case. Support team will be able to check and help on this as this issue needs deeper investigation.
