Unfortunately, there isn't a direct way in Windows 10 to configure waking the laptop solely with the power button.

    Hi Dhanush,

Thanks for your post. Based on my research, I suggest you to make changes in mouse and keyboard settings but please make sure that the Surface is up to date as well.

    1. Click Search bar.
    2. Type "Control Panel" without the quotes in the search bar and click on it.
    3. Under View by which is at top of the screen and select the option as small icons.
    4. Then click on Mouse.
    5. The Mouse Properties Window comes up. Click the Hardware tab. Then click Properties.
    6. Click on Change Settings.
    7. On the next screen, select Power Management. Uncheck the option to Allow This Device to Wake the Computer.
    8. Click OK.

    9. Try to perform the same steps for the keyboard.

    Best Regards,

    Ian Xue
