    There are two main types of reset:

    a) Save files

    b) Remove files

    .

    If the computer is unable to reset save files then an alternative option is a Custom Install.

    A custom install is designed to install a fresh version Windows and save files to Windows.old.

    Drivers and applications must be reinstalled.

    Important files are restored from Windows.old

    If the computer is unable to reset remove files then an alternative option is a Clean Install.

    First important files are backed up to another drive or the cloud.
