Hello all,

How do I remove a long pause after certain slides?

I reached out to Microsoft Support and was directed here to pose my question because they could not resolve my issue after trying all possible options in order to check the audio formatting. I added sound clips to each slide and when I play the slide show containing 40 slides, 2 of those slides have a long 45-60 second pause after them. Please advise.

All slides have uniformed duration times set to 00:29.

I tried setting slides to “Play across all slides” and that didn’t work. It made the sound clips play overlapping each other.

Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    Hi,

Do you set it to autoplay?

I suggest you select the video and go to Playback tab and check if you checked any options under Video Options, uncheck these options:

I also suggest you check if you set the Animations for the problem slides, Select the Animations tab, and in the Duration and Delay box, check the time settings:

Just checking in to see if the information was helpful. Please let us know if you would like further assistance.
