Hi,

I am getting blue screen error frequently.

When I tried to diagnosed, I found, it’s because of ntoskrnl.exe driver but every time I see different error codes like 0x00000139, 0x0000003b (SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION), 0x0000001a (MEMORY_MANAGEMENT), etc.

  • OS: Windows 10 20H2
  • Processor: i5-8250U CPU @ 1.60GHz 1.80 GHz
  • RAM: 12 GB (4GB onboard + 8GB added in another slot)
  • Graphics: Intel UHD Graphics 620 + Radeon 540 Graphics

Please let me know, how to resolve it?

With Regards
NndnG

@Molly Lu Thank you for replying with references.

You can see, I mentioned three codes and names as 0x00000139, 0x0000003b (SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION), 0x0000001a (MEMORY_MANAGEMENT), etc.

Because of different codes and names, I got confused. Moreover, all because of a single driver i.e. ntoskrnl.exe.

May be next time I can see another code and name and I think all because of ntoskrnl.exe driver.

That's why apart from troubleshooting steps, please let me know, how to fix ntoskrnl.exe driver issue.

    With Regards

    Hi NndnG,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A.

For the error code reference, I believe you have already obtained it from my previous answer https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/138027/stop-code-at-windowscomstopcode.html , and if you have any questions about it, please feel free to let me know.

For your BSOD issue, I'd suggest you analyze the dump file to get more detailed information, you can download the WinDbg Preview from Microsoft Store for dump analysis.
Reference link —— Analyzing a Kernel-Mode Dump File with WinDbg
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/debugger/analyzing-a-kernel-mode-dump-file-with-windbg

You can check if there is a dump file under the location C:\Windows\MEMORY.dmp .

    Best regards,
    Molly
