Azure open AI indexing of Sharepoint

I submitted a request a week ago to open up indexing by Azure open AI of Sharepoint sites. More info here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-gb/azure/search/search-howto-index-sharepoint-online

Does anyone know how long this usually takes? There are also conflicting messages about the processes, whether MS will contact me or not as part of the process and when it might be completed.

    Hello @Henrik Like the Azure document states "You won't be receiving any approval notification right after since any access request is automatically accepted after submission. After access is enabled, use a preview REST API (2023-10-01-Preview or later) to index your content..

    So this means every submission is automatically accepted but no confirmation message is sent. Have you tried using the REST API?
