I am writing to inquire about the Client Access License (CAL) requirements for hosting a web application for internal use/access on a Windows Server.

Our organization is planning to self-host a web application for internal use on our local area network (LAN). The web application is built using PHP, and the database backend is MySQL. Our intention is to utilize XAMPP, WAMPP, or Apache to host the web service on a Windows Server environment.

Could you please provide guidance on the CAL requirements for such scenario? Specifically, do we need to obtain CALs for each user accessing the web application internally, even though it's limited to our LAN and not accessible from outside our network?

Additionally, if there are any specific licensing considerations or recommendations for hosting PHP and MySQL-based web applications on Windows Server, we would greatly appreciate any insights you can provide.
