How to fix error code 0x800ccc92 on outlook?
I started to receive the following error message when I click on the send/receive button (or when Outlook attempts to do it automatically), "Receiving reported error (0x800CCC92) "Your email server rejected your login. Verify your user name and password for this account in Account Settings. The server responded: ERR (AUTH) Incorrect username or password". I have made no changes to my username or password.
Windows 10
office 365
all software update on updates
PST file is about 3GB
Have several email accounts coming and going no issues.
I have 4 Sbcglobal.net email accounts, 2 of which have this error code (one is the main/default account) all POP servers
I can access those 2 not working accounts via cell, or web with no issues
Here is what I have done thus far and still a problem:
-restarted the computer and network and router
- rest the password on the accounts (3 times) and confirmed the POP and SMTP are correct, as they are working on the other 2 accounts
- reduced the size of the PST and cleaned it up
- Ran scanpst.exe twice
- ran the office modify to fix any office issues twice
- deleted one of the accounts (not the main one) then restarted everything and tried to create it but outlook would not allow me and says wrong login and password
- talked to ATT and couldn't help
- shutdown Antivirus and firewall
- ran in safe mode
- increased the server timeout
I don't know what else I can do, please HELP!!!!
