Storsimple reset to Factory Default error

Hi

Has anyone out there had an issue with resetting a StorSimple Device to factory default?

We were using the device on Azure but needed to move it to a different subscription. We followed the process on the Microsoft pages:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/storsimple/storsimple-8000-deactivate-and-delete-device

and on this post:

https://superwidgets.wordpress.com/2016/01/12/storsimple-8k-series-factory-reset/

However, we are getting the following error on the reset:

The factory reset operation on this version of factory default image is not supported. Contact Microsoft Support for assistance.

Any Ideas? I'm happy to provide more details and screen dumps regarding the state of the device.

Many thanks

Taf
