What is the status of project bedrock?

Question

I want to use kestrel as a generic tcp udp server. I am aware of project bedrock, and other open source projects have started using it. But documentation is non existent, almost. And also its not clear whether the project is still alive, ready to be used, stable apis exist etc ..
