I want to cancel my Project Plan 1 subscription in MS 365

I tried all the links provided by MS even calling the agent BUT there is no right answer. It keeps circling and circling around. It's easy to join the subscription but cancellation is NOT. I need help!

Hi!

If anyone is still looking for the solution, here it goes:

  1. Go to the microsoft project trial page:
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-ww/microsoft-365/project/project-management-software

  2. Go to free trial option "Try now" and when it asks you to set up your account, put in the account that you set up your subscription in the first place.

    And it will say you already have an account, so will tell you to sign in.

  3. Then it will list the subscription that you have of Project, and lets you to cancel it there.


Hope it helps! I almost cried while trying to cancel subscription with way too many dead ends.

EnkhBattsooj-1045's solution on this page is the only thing that worked for me. The online process otherwise is just a cluster of dead ends and access restrictions. I called Microsoft THREE TIMES and was always cut off when trying to cancel this. I even called a number for the "commercial department" that the rep said to call (1-866-425-9705), which wasn't even an active phone number. Just a horrendous and shady quagmire that Microsoft should be EMBARRASSED about. EnkhBattsooj-1045 is a hero. Thank you!

No, supports and answers did not help. I also tried calling support but going around and around there is no direct answer. It makes hard to cancel subscription but so easy to subscribe. Please help, thanks you.

Thanks for visiting our forum and sorry for late reply. Then here we mainly focus on general issues about Exchange server. From the description in your thread, your issue is more related to subscription in O365.

You may also try following the steps introduced in this official document: Cancel your subscription. And if that doesn’t help, I would recommend you open a service request in O365 to get further help.
