Excel fails to create XML file

Hi all,
I have an excel file and I would create XML file.
I have a trouble with a date column.

If I add this colum with date (just date dd-mm-yyyy), Excel fails export to XML.

I have found this way as workaround:

  1. export in CSV format
  2. convert from CVS format to XML using an external tool

I would avoid this workaround if possible.

How can I solve it?

    Could you please tell me the version of your Excel?

    Could you successfully export to XML without adding the date column?

    How did you export to XML?
    Did you follow the steps in “Export XML data”?

    Do you have a XML Map?

    Besides, is there any error message when failing to export to XML?
