Nano Server native C++ apps still supported?

Are Native Visual C++ apps still supported deployed to a nano server? I am targeting to migrate some legacy apps to run on nanoo server in Azure.
But I can only find information about native win32 apps for nano servers from 2016 and 2017.

Hi,

Thank you for coming Microsoft Q&A forum.

According to the following official article states:

Moving to Nano Server, the new deployment option in Windows Server 2016

Nano Server Native Project Template now on Visual Studio Gallery

We think C++ apps should be supported to deploy to Nano Server.

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback.

As we also can't find the latest information for nano server 2019. According to third party blog Windows Server 2019 Nano Server role says there is a big change between Nano Server 2016 and Nano Server 2019, it does not contain many packages by default. If you have installed Nano Server 2019 on your side and found changes when try to run Win32 API, it might be the an expect behavior by default. Or you could provide the function capture you want to use, we could try to test if same behavior occur on our side.

The main API I have to target is COM but I guess there are more I do onot know by now.
But I wonder if I should start investigating this because I can not find any documentation about win32 apps in Nano Server 2019. The recommended scenario vor nano server 2019 is .Net Core or IoT. So it seems win32 apps are not part of the current poroduct porfolio or part of any road map. So before investigating I would like to see any perspektive if this is a valid scenario fow nano server.
