Microsoft Authenticator 6 digit code

Hi Support Team, I am looking to sign into a 3rd party portal - https://portal.cdr.gov.au/ with my Microsoft account and the Microsoft Authenticator. They have a forced 2FA enabled which needs a 6 digit code however the Microsoft Authenticator app on my iPhone 12 gives me a 8 digit code.

I have removed my account on the Authenticator app and added it again. Activated 2 step verification in the setting with no joy. Can you help?

This is an urgent request as we need to add our application in ASAP.

I have the same problem and I spent many hours trying to figure out how to resolve it but I only made it worse, I'm trying to get my PayPal account back now

When I first activated 2 steps verification in PayPal and linked it to Microsoft Authenticator, this last was giving me a 6-digits code as PayPal demanded, but when after I've reinstalled Microsoft Authenticator it started giving 8-digits code but PayPal still demands a 6-digits code and since then I couldn't sign in to PayPal.

Hello, Azure AD does not support MFA for personal accounts. My guess is MFA has been setup for your Microsoft Account which is not related to Azure AD. Request your user to be added as a guest to the Azure AD tenant so that you can login w/o MFA.
