Multiple assigned users in Microsoft Lists?

In Microsoft Lists, I am using the template "Work Progress Tracker" and there is a field titled "Assigned to", it allows me to add one Person or Group, I want to add multiple people and assign the task to multiple people. How do I achieve this?”

Hi @RickMueller-0445, thank you for posting in the Q&A forum.

Please navigate to the Microsoft List, click Settings (Gear button on top right of the page) > List settings > click "Assigned to" column under Columns and then set “Allow multiple selections” to Yes.

Hi @ChelseaWu-MSFT

I am looking for similar guidance to this question. I have tried to follow the steps noted above, but I do not show a gear icon and/or settings anywhere when I have the list open in Teams or in a browser. Has something been updated to remove this option?

Please advice, would love to find a way to assign a task to multiple people with Lists.

Thank you,

You should be able to find the Gear button on the left of your profile icon.
Open the list via Microsoft Lists, and then wait for the page to load completely.
Make sure you have access to the List settings to begin with.
