Hi all, on our terminal server, our users are receiving the following message when they either click a hyper link or email address in the body of the message;
‘Your organization’s policies are preventing us from completing this action for you’

Current config: Terminal Server is 2012R2, Office Pro Plus 2016 32-bit version, user accounts through Microsoft 365.

I can’t find where this issue is coming from nor can I resolve it. I have searched the net for a solution but so far, coming up empty.

    Hi @JB306yxe ,

    Has this issue only occurred with the specific users and messages? Could the issue be reproduced if he send a message with hyperlinks to himself abd open it?

    I have tested on my Terminal Server 2012R2, but I could access my links in message normally, so the issue may be related to your client.

    Based on my research, for the issue of not working hyperlinks in Outlook, there are 2 normal methods to fix it, it's suggested to follow these steps to troubleshoot your issues:

    • Method 1: Reset Internet Explorer settings, the steps would depend on your IE version.
    • Method 2: Export and import the registry key from another computer

    For more detailed information, please refer to this article: Hyperlinks are not working in Outlook

    Hope your issue would be resolved soon.
