Software deployment | Inactive Coputer Object in SCCM

Need help with the Following Issue.

when we deploy software/patches through SCCM it always shows 70% completed due to inactive computer object.
and we are unable to remove those objects from the active directory due to organization policy.

Is there any way to exclude inactive computer objects (like inactive for 7 days) in SCCM during software/patch deployment?

Any Idea?

Thank You
Nur

Hi,

Thanks for posting in Microsoft MECM Q&A forum.

==>Is there any way to exclude inactive computer objects (like inactive for 7 days) in SCCM during software/patch deployment?
Yes. We can create a new collection that only include active devices, then deploy the needed software/patch to the new collection. For more information to create the new collection, please refer to:

ConfigMgr: How to create a collection to include only active or inactive computers
