How Do I Delete List/Plan in Microsoft "Tasks by Planner and To Do"

At the bottom of the "Tasks by Planner" program there is a menu item "New list or plan". I clicked this, and added a Task (starts with the word "Have". See below with red arrow. I want to delete the Task, but do not see any menu item to do this.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @MichaelAdams-5874

You can manage the lists of tasks from the To Do application. You can access it from here : https://to-do.office.com/tasks

Then when clicking on your tasks list, you have a menu next to its title to manage it in the main screen (rename, delete, print).

Thanks, Jimmy. Are you saying we have to download another app in order to clear a task?

Hi @MichaelAdams-5874

You don't need to download it. Just click the first reply‘s link and then click “get started” here:

Hi @MichaelAdams-5874

Any update?

I don't seem to have the ability to right click where you're indicating in teams interface or the web interface. Any ideas?

Dude, it doesn't work: I have a corporate account MS 365 Applications excluding Exchange Online subscription and it prevents me to use To-Do.
I can use Teams, and the integrated Tasks mini-app, but I can't use To-Do and delete Lists/Plans.
Generally, it seems ridiculous that I can't do so within the Teams app and need another app just to delete the list :((

It works great. You just need to go to the ellipsis on the upper right corner and click Refresh for your change to be implemented.

Here is an update on this.

Jimmy's method of going to the To-Do application online does work.

I also found out you can delete this by going into your Outlook desktop application, click on the "My Tasks" icon on the bottom left, and you can delete the task that way.

Update: It looks like Microsoft may have fixed the original issue. You can now right click on the Task, and left click on Delete.

Now you have three ways to delete the task.

It's not deleting tasks. That's easy. It's deleting Lists/Plans that does not work.
Trying everything, it still does not work.

The only solution is stop relying on Microsoft, jump ship, they are a failed company and have only been making worse and worse products, clunkier and clunkier OS's, and gathering more and more of our sweet, juicy user information. Worst company ever.

Got it! You go to the Teams tab (see the left menu), then, in the right up, you can see and remove your List/Plan!
