Unable to push Code from VS Code git to Azure App Service.

I am trying to Push code using VS Code on App service for deployment.
Last deployment was successful but after that I am not able to commit any code.
I am attaching the Image of log.
I tried deleting the local .git folder and creating it again but it didn't worked.
I tried creating new azure web app service and committed the same code and it is working on that app service.

Hi @SharmaVivek-8934, are you getting the same issue since recreating an app service and configuring deployment center? What steps did you perform to create the repo? Are you using the Azure Extensions? One thing to try is deleting the .lock file in kudu should you encounter this issue again.

Hi @ryanchill No I didn't get any error after re creating an app service and configuring deployment center.
I am not using azure Extenions.
for the first time I created this repo by cloning the azuredevops repo and then i make changes in code commit code to azure devops and then to azure web app service. I follow the same procedure every time and it works
but from yesterday I am not able to commit code to azure web app but I can commit on azure devops.

There is no .lock in local folder I tried creating it and then committing the but it didn't worked.
I tried deleting the whole .gut folder and the initializing and then committing to azure web apps but this also didn't worked.

How can I delete lock file in Kudu .? Please guide

Navigate to https://yourapp.scm.azurewebsites.net/DebugConsole. This will direct you to the screen below. You'll noticed that I dir'd into the /home/site/repository. My folder doesn't have anything but check this folder next time your run into that issue.

And your repo is hosted in https://dev.azure.com @SharmaVivek-8934? Which repo did you clone? I want to attempt to follow your exact steps to reproduce the issue.

Repo is hosted on http://dev.azure.com 1st I commit code on dev.azure and then I commit same code on Webapp via VS code local git . This process was followed by me from last 2 months and it was working fine. Suddenly I started getting push failed on webapp but on dev.azure it is still working fine.7046-capture.jpg

You may need to use the command 'ls -a' to see the hidden directory '.git'.
