Azure Bastion Connection Error

53587-image.png

We set up a new user for Azure/Bastion connectivity however the user receives a connection error - in the attached screenshot - each time he tries to connect to a vm using bastion. The account has the same permissions as other accounts that can successfully connect and we confirmed all settings are in line with what is found in the Azure Bastion FAQ. Are there any other suggestions as to how we can troubleshoot this issue?

@johnwilliams-4177, Are you trying to login using your Azure AD credentials? If so, that is not yet supported in bastion yet. Azure Bastion can't be used to log in by using Azure Active Directory authentication with the AADLoginForWindows extension; only direct RDP is supported.

We are attempting to log in with pure Active Directory credentials. The VM is Active Directory domain joined as well. I use a domain admin equivalent account to log into the machine successfully. Any other ideas?
