Azure Site Recovery Deployment Planner never completes for Server 2019 Hyper-V Cluster

Anyone else having issues getting the ASR Deployment Planner to work against a 2019 Hyper-V cluster? It worked fine against 2016 clusters.

It appears to be locking up or lagging when its trying to gather anything related to the VMs.

I think its related to these other posts I see online from admins that report delays using Hyper-V manager against 2019 hosts and the long delays with some of the Hyper-V PS commandlets.

@SadiqhAhmed-MSFT

The first host, which only had two VMs, answered quickly. The planner is now just waiting on the next host which has about 14VMs running on it.

@BrianIllner-5517 The first host, which only had two VMs - What were OS running on them?

@BrianIllner-5517 Apologies for delay in response to your query.

Windows 2019 is an untested scenario. As this is not a supported OS, we have not validated deployment planner on Windows 2019 HyperV cluster. So, it is always recommended to proceed with supported OS - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/site-recovery/hyper-v-deployment-planner-overview#support-matrix

So while MS supports hosts running Windows Server 2019 for ASR replication, the planner tool is still not validated or supported yet?

@SadiqhAhmed-MSFT

Now that Windows Server 2022 is at the RTM stage, when will Microsoft update the ASR deployment planner to include 2019 and 2022?
