Unable to open SVG file with latest update on Microsoft 10 Home

I did a recent update on my Lenovo laptop with Windows 10 Home. I now have Microsoft Edge Version 87.0.664.66. Prior to this update, I was able to open up SVG files into Internet Explorer. I am no longer able to do that. The files automatically want to open in Microsoft Edge. When I attempt to open in IE, the page is blank. When I try to open in Edge, I get the following error : 
Any advice would be much appreciated! I am desperate! Thank you!
