Secure desktop for work-USB drive doesn't load properly-loads black screen

I have a HP with Windows 10S (S disabled).

I need to load a secure desktop from a usb and I can get the usb to boot, but when I click the link to load the company's secure desktop, the screen goes black and the desktop does not load.

I have tried Rufus, but not great with this stuff so I am limited in knowledge. I just need to boot this secure desktop for a work from home job. Normally people disable secure boot and check Legacy, but this pc doesn't have a legacy option to enable.

Can anyone outline the clear steps for me?? I get confused when people mention the iso image.... I have to format the usb with the ASD builder, which is an exe. file that I download to the usb.

Ok so first of all the arise secure desktop is based of llinux .also you need a 3.0 flash drive no bigger than a 32gb. Once you have your asd built you want to make sure secure boot is off you can chage that in your system bios once you boot into the asd the first time and it dont load you need to restart the computer hit your hotkey like f9 are esc select the usb you want to boot from usb once you see the grub screen hit e then a lil menu will appear you will see where the system says quiet put nomodeset right beside it but infront of it then hit f10 and it should boot right into the asd

Hi,

Thank you for coming Microsoft Q&A.

May I know what secure desktop you are preparing to load? Is it arise secure desktop as you said "I have to format the usb with the ASD builder"?

Here is a tutorial about How To Launch The ASD Software On Your Computer? (3 of 3), please check if your action is correct.

Also we should pay attention to Be sure to download/install Microsoft Security Essentials and remove any security programs that are not approved by Arise part in that tutorial.

But for third party software secure desktop, I would recommend to contact with their support as they should be more familiar with their product and should have more resources to you.
