Using Windows 10 I.E. Not working while using VPN but Chrome and others are.

So with everything going on I am working from home. I am using a vpn to work, and I use a program that uses I.E. to auto generate pages in this program. I am posting this question using chrome can use outlook and everything else. it is just I.E. I am at a loss please if anyone has any ideas this problem has been unable to be fixed for the last two weeks I am wondering if we are overthinking it.
