I have recently did a fresh install of 1909 on my laptop and did all updates. I enabled Hyper-V on the machine and all seemed to go well. I noticed that the Default Switch was there and greyed out. It was set to Internal.
I created a new External switch and assigned it to my Wi-Fi adapter since that is the connection I have.
I did a normal creation of a VM and everything seemed ok a first.
What I began to notice is that everything on the VM and Laptop would be really slow as far as Internet connectivity was concerned. I also noticed that as long as the the External switch is setup, my VPN connection back to my office will not connect.
Another I noticed is that the External switch when viewing in Network Sharing on the host shows that is is connected to a completely different network SSID than the host.
The only way I have been able to get everything to work is to remove the External switch, Create a new Internal switch and then go to my Wi-Fi adapter connection and turn on ICS.
I never had these issue on desktop that is 1909. Could it be just because I am on Wi-Fi instead of an wired Ethernet connection.
