Breakout rooms

Hi

I noticed that after I close the break out rooms and my students come back to the general channel, I can not see the hands raised. I am clicking Show participants and I am closing the Breakout rooms feature but nevertheless , I can not see the hands raised. Alo, I noticed that when I download the attendance list at the beginning of the class, before the breakout rooms, I am able to download the entire list of students present. However, after the breakout rooms session, the file is downloaded empty.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

Hi @MariaAZanetta-1534. If your question is about breakout rooms in Teams meetings, you should add tag office-teams-windows-itpro. Tag small-basic-general is for Microsoft Small Basic. Thanks.

@SharonZhao-MSFT I'm still having that same problem. I'm not seeing raised hands correctly as an organizer after using break out rooms.
I updated, reinstalled, cleared cache and all that stuff, but the problem remains. My version is 1.4.00.16575 (64-Bit).
Please dont treat that issue as solved, because it is not. It's really frustrating to me.

@MariaAZanetta-1534,

Could you provide us a screenshot about this issue?

I tested this in my lab. Microsoft Teams Version is 1.4.00.2595 (64-bit). After attendees return to the main meeting, raise hand button can still function. But attendees in desktop client cannot see its update about other participants. While attendees in web client can see its update at real time. It seems a bug in desktop client. We will research it and any update I will share with you here.

About Meeting Attendance List, it works no problem.

The workaround for recovery raise hand function is to rejoin the meeting.

If I misunderstand your words, please give us more description. Thanks for your understanding.

@MariaAZanetta-1534,
I reproduced the steps again in Microsoft Teams Version 1.4.00.10372 (64-bit). It can work properly now.
You could try it in your client to confirm if this problem is fixed too.
