Hi @EspadaDennis-8094

Thank you for your question posting in Q & A.

You can check on below url's and Windows Nano Server does not include any roles by default you can now use PowerShell Package Management to install on Windows Nano Server Packages on your Azure VM.

Refer - How to deploy Nano Server in Azure

Starting in Windows Server, version 1709, Nano Server will be available only as a container base OS image. Check out Changes to Nano Server

Hi,

I noticed you are using Oracle VirtualBox, right?

We could download Nano Server VHD from Evaluation center, and import that VHD to Virtual box.
For details, please refer to:

How to Deploy Nano Server as a Virtual Machine

Using a VHD with Oracle VirtualBox

Hi @JoyQiao-MSFT,

I've been having huge issues deploying a nano server on VirtualBox and wherever I look for answer, I always find results using Hyper-V. That's also problematic because my vbox server is not letting me install Hyper-v due to "missing SLAT".

I therefor followed your suggestion and I was able to create a .vdi that I then used as the virtual hard disk but I'm having this error pop up when I try to launch my vm:

FATAL: INT18: BOOT FAILURE

Any chance you could help me troubleshoot ?
