FSLogix - Error in operational log - Prep2 (The system cannot find the file specified)

Hi,

We recently updated to FSlogix version 2.9.7654.46150 , after this when checking operational log's I can see that all users profile log error "Prep2 (The system cannot find the file specified)" and directly after they log normal information that profile loaded correctly.

We do not see any user impact on this but would be nice to understand why this error is logged every time.

Has anyone else seen similar error-log?

I tried running it via MS support ticket but they cannot look into a case which has nu user disruption, so ticket was closed.

I would suggest first take some general troubleshooting steps according to this Guide.

Next You could use support tool to gathers more logs and configuration information.

Then here is a blog addressed this specific issue, you might take a try as well.

Thanks for your reply.

I've gone trough the general troubleshooting steps and cannot find any configuration errors in our setup, keep in mind that profiles are loading correctly and working for users. We only get this error message in logs which I would like to figure out why.

The blog-link you are referring to has the same error log we have but also other error, we only see the prep2 error and user profile is loading for our users. Also we use Citrix provisioning so our servers revert to known state upon reboot so I'm 100% sure there is no old userprofile on servers causing our error-message.

Regarding log-files gathering I'm not quite sure what to do with it, I cannot upload it to public forum. Also Microsoft support did not want to investigate our error-message since it is not hindering our users so I cannot send logs to them.

it seems all the configurations has no problem, maybe we could wait for next release of FSlogix. or report this to UserVoice forum for FSLogix.
