Hello,

unfortunately the issue is that the export does not work on my existing User VPN configuration, when you export it the secret is not exported with it when instead is expected to be.

I have contacted Microsoft and they came back to me telling me this is a bug and they will try to fix it as soon as possible. I am stuck now and not capable to move forward nonetheless.

Thanks

@FedericoStaiano-3805 The Server Secret can be exported in the P2S VPN client profile. Instructions on how to export a client profile can be found here.

Hello,

thanks for the reply.

Unfortunately I already tried the command in that link and they do not work for vwan.

The command tried to search for stand Vnet gateway but Vwan does not use the same concept as standard VPN and for this reason fail as it tried to lookup for Vnetwork gateway that it does not exist.

I was hoping to find someone that have experience with Vwan and User VPN configuration on it.

@FedericoStaiano-3805 Have you tried to download the user vpn profile directly from the portal GUI? I did the same to test and imported this config to the Azure VPN client and it works.

Hello, I got the same problem.

1 - The Azure portal client that i download doesn't work (error : Impossible de trouver un certificat qui peut être utilisé avec le protocole EAP (Extensible Authentication Protocol). (Erreur 798)). I follow this documentation without any results : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/vpn-gateway/vpn-gateway-troubleshoot-vpn-point-to-site-connection-problems

2- I try to do the method above to connect my computer to the vpn and it doesn't work because of the lack of Server secret (512 caracters).
