If you are trying to add an application from enterprise application blade on portal, can you please check if "Users can consent to apps accessing company data on their behalf" setting is turned "Yes".
Application \'c951ed7a-706b-48bf-adc8-22014exxxxx\' is requesting permissions that are either invalid or out of date
Hi,
I was trying to install an app from the Marketplace, which requires admin consent. While installing I received the following:
Request Id: 727c89c0-9c57-4902-88f7-e90d9aaxxxxx Correlation Id: adca10c6-xssd-4172-bacb-aafd10dfd998 Timestamp: 2020-04-29T17:26:50Z Message: AADSTS650051: Application \'c951ed7a-706b-48bf-adc8-2201xxxxxx\' is requesting permissions that are either invalid or out of date.
Can somebody please help?
Cheers
Sameer

2020-04-29T20:04:47.15+00:00 @sameermhaisekar, This error usually comes up when there is an discrepancy between the App registration and the application itself. By this I mean if the app registration doesnt happen properly this error usually pops up.
Do try to add this app once again and see if that helps.
If it still fails, do share the latest correlation ID and timestamp that you get in the error. We can try to see if we can find any more details that can explain this failure. You can send the above mentioned details on the email azcommunity[at]microsoft[dot]com
Hope this helps.
Do let us know if this helps and if there are any more queries around this, please do let us know so that we can help you further. Also, please do not forget to accept the response as Answer; if the above response helped in answering your query.

2023-09-19T15:08:17.64+00:00 For us this happened because the application registration used an identifierUri that has already been used in the past (the app registration was at some point deleted and later created again).
The deleted application registration was still around, in deleted state, so the system didn't complain about duplicate URIs, but something still broke because of it.
In the admin center, it is possible to change the URL of the new application (has to be done through editing the manifest) and restore the original, or delete the old one permanently, which should resolve the problem.
