Disable sending usage data collection Microsoft Intune Campany Portal App

Hi everyone,

is there a way to automatically disable sending usage data collection to Microsoft in the Intune Company Portal App?

I know i can change the setting in the Portal App.
Company Portal > Preferences > Send usage data to Microsoft > disable

But I will change the Setting automatically by a shell script oder a profile.
Which should be installed via Intune if possible.

Is there a way? Any Ideas?

best regards
Christian

@adm-c-nerlich, From your description, I notice we will change the Setting of sending usage data by a shell script or a profile. Based on my research, I didn't find any profile in Intune to do this.

If the devices are Windows 10 and the Powershell script is at hand, we can deploy it via Intune. We can see more details in the following link
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/apps/intune-management-extension

Hope it can help.

Hey @Crystal-MSFT

thank you for your time and your help :-)
i have vote for the request.

i can not understand, why Microsoft has no possibility to change this option automatically.

I don't think we're the only company that doesn't want to share usage data with Microsoft.

best regards
