Wipe Action resulting in Recovery Failure on Windows 10

Hi,

I am noticing issues with ‘Wipe’ action using Intune on Windows 10 devices, particularly 1903 build. When initiated, the device wipes and throws an error message ‘There was a problem resetting your PC’ and enters the Recovery\Advanced troubleshooting section. So far I have only observed this on devices that have not enrolled into Autopilot. It works flawlessly against devices that are enrolled in Autopilot. On researching, it appears that this is not an uncommon behaviour and some have suggested to use ‘Fresh Start’ instead. I am curious to know if this is a known issue or what is the reason behind such behaviour.

@RahulJindal-2267 Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

For this issue, we appreciate your help to get some information:
1.Does this issue occurs on all win10 1903 devices or some?
2.Please try to reset in an unenrolled win10 1903 device, and check if there is a problem occurs.

At the same time, I havd done some research, I find some known issue about wipe action in the following link:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/mem/intune/troubleshoot-device-actions#wipe-action
From the article, if we choose "Wipe device, and continue to wipe even if devices loses power. If you select this option, please be aware that it might prevent some Windows 10 devices from starting up again", it may cause some problems.

If there is anything update, feel free to let us know.
