SCCM CMG | Update Cert | No Client Activity

I generated a new self sign cert, added the .pfx file in the CMG settings, logged in to Azure and added the .cer file and both looks successful. Unfortunately I am not seeing client activity.

1) What client side logs should I be reviewing for the CMG activity?
2) how do I tell a client to check Azure for the new cert?
3) Where should I be looking client side for failures?

Hi @gchapmanADM-7237,

We could check CMGHttpHandler.log, CMGService.log, and SMS_Cloud_ProxyConnector.log on the side of client.
For more detailed information about logs, we could refer to this link:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/configmgr/core/plan-design/hierarchy/log-files#cloud-management-gateway

Besides, here is the article about SCCM CMG Implementation guide, please refer to this link:

Sorry, can you take a step back here please. Why did you generate a self-signed cert? And where are you adding it in Azure (and why)?

I generated in on our Enterprise CA and added it to Azure per the MS documentation after adding it in the cert location on the CMG in ConfigMgr.

That's not a self-signed cert then.

The best log to check is on the clients as that's what the cert is used for (client communication): ccmmessaging.log.
