I want to make an outline with collapsible headings. Using MS Word for Mac 16.44 (20121301)

Hi, -
I'm using MSWord for Mac (16.44 / 20121301)
and need to make an outline with expand/collapse functions for organising a huge document.

Tutorials show formatting an outline, scrolling over a heading, the expand / collapse tab (triangle) appears.
No such thing on Mac, apparently.

Is there a workaround?

@ChevyNova-1740

Based on your description, you would like to make an outline with collapsible headings in Word for Mac which is not supported on Mac currently.

I have done some research and found the following threads.

As a workaround, maybe it can be realized with VBA code.
Since tag "office-for-mac-itpro" focuses on general issues about Microsoft Office for Mac.
I will modify the tag to be “office-vba-dev” to get related help.

Following on from this question, @ChevyNova-1740, do you - or anyone else - know whether this function is available in Office 2021?

I'm trying to decide whether to buy it. I only want it if I'll get the same functionality as the PC version, in particular the collapsible headings.

Thanks!

Collapsible heading remain limited to the PC (Windows) version.
