Google Chrome SSO works on iPads/iOS via Intune?

Hi,

We are trying to enable SSO (Microsoft Azure) for one of the web application built on Azure on Ipads/iOS via intune. We know SSO on apple devices is still in preview mode. We are doing the testing but we are not able to make it work with google chrome browser. Is it true that Google Chrome SSO will only work on Windows domain joined devices and not on iPads or iOS when they are MDM enrolled via intune? If yes, can someone help with how to set up SSO for Google Chrome on apple devices via Intune?

@GoodResource Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

To clarify this issue, we appreciate your help to collect the following information:
1.Please check the device or user status of the SSO device features profile.
2.Please check if it works on Microsoft Edge.

If there is anything update, feel free to let us know.

My responses:

1.Please check the device or user status of the SSO device features profile. - What exactly you meant by device and user status? The profile is applied to a test group of 5 devices, where SSO plugin settings are made. On ipad, authenticator app is installed which has the plugin configured.
2.Please check if it works on Microsoft Edge. - At present it isn't working on any browser on iPad. We are still testing. But this works good on a windows devices.

@GoodResource Thanks for your reply.

  1. Check the device or user status of the SSO device features profile.--It means check whether the profile is successfully deployed. For example:

  2. It is should be noted that intune just provides management, not identity or authentication. So SSO is related to Azure Active Directory. In order to get more targeted help, we suggest to open a case for Azure Active Directory. The following link describes how to open a case, we can refer to it:
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/fundamentals/active-directory-troubleshooting-support-howto

Thanks for understanding and have a nice day.

does SSO worked with any other app on iOS or is Chrome the only app you tested.

At present, it isn't working with any of the browser (Safari, Edge, Chrome). We are still testing and troubleshooting. But this works on Windows devices.
