I recently cancelled my GoDaddy SSL and created a new one on Azure. The private certificate is bound to xxx.com and www.xxx.com, but I also have pbdev.xxx.com which I use for development. How do I add this to the host names for the certificate?

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A (Preview) platform. Happy to answer your question.

If you need to secure multiple domain names, such as xxx.com, www.xxx.com, and pbdev.xxx.com, then you can get a wildcard certificate by clicking on Certificate SKU.
You need to specify the root domain in naked Domain Host Name while creating App Service certificate. Sharing a screenshot below to provide more context. Please let us know if you have further questions.
