Why is MS Graph auditLogs SignIns so slow?

We have been using MS Graph for a while now (2 years), we have a daily process to take all our auditLogs, but last week we started to experience slowness on that service, our calls were from milliseconds to 30 seconds, why are we experiencing this slow response?

Take a look to our AppInsight charts...

Has anyone followed up on this? Sign Ins is still taking a very long time per request. Even attempting to break it apart into smaller responses using $top is not making it any better.

Thank you for your detailed post!

Was anything changed last week that could have caused this? For example:

  • An increased number of requests across applications in your tenant(s)?

  • A large number of requests from your application(s) across your tenant(s)?

  • Are you experiencing this issue daily? Or does it only occur at random times?

Any additional details would be greatly appreciated!

If you have any other questions, please let me know.
Thank you for your time and patience throughout this issue.

I just wanted to check in and see if you had any other questions or if you were able to resolve this issue?

Hey James,

Sorry about this delayed response, I thought that a message will be delivered to my mailbox but it does not.

We use the sign-ins on a daily basis, it is used for internal audit.

t is the very first time that we have that issue, we started to use that api a year ago, we decided to start to use Office 365 Active User Detail rather than sign-ins

But guess what? yeah now Office 365 report is returning an empty report, it just started on Feb 11 report.

https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/reports/getOffice365ActiveUserDetail(date=2021-02-11)

Any help will be really appreciated.

Thank you!

Enclosed the chart for Feb 18, 988 requests were sent, 37 sec per request.
