Just now I created my profile in this portal and I went to settings to set my username. But there is no effect after setting username. I tried several times. There is no Internet problem or something like that. Please have a look at this: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/users/[USERNAME]/settings
The Display Name is editable. The user URL is not editable here in QnA. Try making these changes to your GitHub profile

@JimmyTrivedi we use the user name (the user URL) as @DSPatrick called it, as that value is unique where as display names are not. We need to use a unique identifier so the community knows who each user is as well as being able to mention them. That is why we use the user name vs. the display name.
