Configuration Manager Cannot download Microsoft 365 Apps from 2/9 release

We are running Config Manager 2010 and are getting an Error: Failed to download content id 17836855. Error: Invalid certificate signature.
This is not happening on the older release Microsoft 365 Apps Update.
This issue looks to be the exact same that was experienced last November/December and the "solution" was to Uninstall October 2020 Update KB4577668.
Then there was a hotfix that came out for Config Manager that resolved this.

@MichaelLove-0412
According to your description, this issue is more realted on Configuration Manager, I would remove the tag "office-deployment".
Thanks for your understanding.

Good news. It looks like Microsoft released a new update for Microsoft 365 Apps Update Current Channel Version on 2/16. I was successfully able to download and deploy that 32bit and 64bit update.

Hi,

Thanks for posting in Microsoft MECM Q&A forum.

1.If possible, please install the latest hotfix of SCCM 2010 to have a try.

2.Please check the PatchDownloader.log to see if there is any further information. This log will record details about the process of downloading software updates from the update source to the download destination on the site server.

Thanks for your time.

Best regards,
Simon

So I just tried the hotfix KB4594177 but that did not resolve the issue.
This is happening for the following updates:
Microsoft 365 Apps Update - Current Channel Version 2101 for x86 based Edition (Build 13628.20380)
Microsoft 365 Apps Update - Current Channel Version 2101 for x64 based Edition (Build 13628.20380)

We run in the same Error with the Update "Microsoft 365 Apps Update - Current Channel Version 2101 for x86 based Edition (Build 13628.20380)". We are on SCCM 2006 5.00.9012.1056 with all Hotfixes installed.

The following Updates where successfully downloaded:

Microsoft 365 Apps Update - Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel Version 2008 for x86 based Edition (Build 13127.21216)
Microsoft 365 Apps Update - Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel Version 2002 for x86 based Edition (Build 12527.21594)
Microsoft 365 Apps Update - Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel (Preview) Version 2008 for x86 based Edition (Build 13127.21216)

Only the Current Channel 2101 Update run into the error "Failed to download content id 16895265. Error: Invalid certificate signature"

In the PatchDownloader.log I see this errors:

Yep, I'm still getting the same error.
Still no solution from Microsoft.
I guess we wait til they release an update that is valid. Ugh

Similar issue on my side with the Current (Preview) channel.

It downloads fine, but once you deploy it to devices they do not download from the distribution point.

The semi-annual channel works fine, it downloads into ccmcache and installs perfectly.

I'm having a similar issue where the Current Channel (Preview) update appears to be downloaded and distributed, but when deployed to my clients it fails to download to the client cache.

DataTransferService.log
DTS job {xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxx} BITS job {xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx} failed to download source file http://SERVERNAME/SMS_DP_SMSPKG$/xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxx/sccm?/Office/Data/16.0.13901.20336/i640.c2rx to destination C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\C2RBitsCheckReachableXXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX with error 0x80190194

IIS Logs on the server side reports corresponding errors (404), so somehow the file is missing on the DP. It is also missing in the source share for the Deployment Package.

Anybody knows what's going on here?
