WSUS showing incorrect information

Hi All,

I have spent a couple of days now sorting out the WSUS environment I inherited. I've centralised it on our main site, with downstream servers being used to update their local desktops. All golden there, as the GPOs are working well.

I have an issue, and I don't know if it's cosmetic. If it is cosmetic, it creates the impression that WSUS isn't working like it should, which isn't the case. When I look at a downstream server it shows no computers under Unassigned Computers whilst correctly showing its local computers under the correct Computer Group.

On the main server, that's not quite the case as it shows that particular site's computers under Unassigned Computers.

I have tried numerous syncs between sites and it hasn't fixed it. Anyone got an idea of what I can do to get the main server to reflect assigned computers correctly?

Thanks!

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.
Please check the "Computers" setting of "Option" in your Update Services console like below to make sure you have selected "Use Group Policy or registry settings on computers":

And check you group policy "Enable client-side targeting":
