Hi everyone,

The issue is related with Office 365 apps available for users through rdweb server (standalone apps)
When users connect using Windows there is no problem, all works ok.
But when users connect using Mac, through "Microsoft Remote Desktop" from App Store, problems appear. Excel, Word, etc.
The application opens but is transparent, is not showing anything. And I say "transparent" because you press keys or move mouse and icon changes like if it was over a cell or a menu, in Excel, for example.
It happens with Word, Excel, Outlook,.. all 365 apps.
Sometimes, this behavior changes and the app is showing ok, but you close it, open again and problem appears.
Other apps we have published (available from rdweb too) are working ok, like file explorer, adobe acrobat, etc.
Any Mac is facing this problem, with Catalina o Big Sur.
We have tried to change resolution, but not works.
If we connect a full session with desktop, error disappears, but office license is not applicable. We need a standalone app, like is configured now.

Anyone knows how to solve it, any clue?
Thanks in advance.

Have you customized the display resolution for remote desktop session?
Or did you change the resolution of your display for Macbook?

From the view of Microsoft 365, please make sure Microsoft 365 has been updated to the newest.

Besides, I would suggest you intsall other versions of Microsoft Remote Desktop to check this issue.
To get other versions, you may go to link "What about the Mac beta client?", then click the "Microsoft Remote Desktop for Mac".

No, I have not customized the resolution (rdp and mac). However, I tried to change resolutions when connection is stablished and problem persists.

Office 365 is updated with lasted patches.

Other versions had been tried (from 2020, October, indeed) and problem was there yet.
