Hi MichaelMassee-9029,

Thanks for your continuously attention for Teams for Linux.

It has no official announcement releases the plan in Teams for Linux. You could pay attention to Microsoft 365 Roadmap. It will list the feature plan of Microsoft products.

The only workaround for now is to use windows desktop client. The updates for windows client are more frequent and efficient.

Meanwhile, giving feedback in the link provided by you is an approach. Microsoft will always focus on customer’s feedback and experience. Some new features would be added to the services based on customers' feedback in the future, and your good ideas will be very helpful for them to improve the service.

Your time, understanding and cooperation will be highly appreciated.

Using a Windows desktop client is NOT a "workaround'!!!

Seriously, what's the point of releasing a Linux version and then never updating it? Telling people that they have to install a different operating system if they want new features speaks clearly of Microsoft's unchanged attitude to those who do not want to use their operating system.
