Outlook 2007 refused to send and receive mails with different accounts

Outlook 2007
since 3 days Outlook refused to have contact to my Incoming mail server (POP)
Yahoo and Outgoing mail server (SMTP)


Since 3 days wihtout any settings changing, outlook 2007 is refusing to sent and received any mails from my two accounts.

With my other two accounts by the same Mail Provider Outlook is sending and receiving as usally-

The other both accounts in Outlook 2007 is always asking for the Network Password.

The window mask for entering the Network Password pop up several times during my work like writing or looking on the screen.

I had meanwhile deleted several times my two accounts from Outlook 2007 and created the same two accounts with the same pasword as many years ago and Outlook were runing brilliant.

With some information I went into the registery to look for the Outlook file and I have find both accounts there.

I had delete these two too and started againg to create on the Outlook 2007 platfrom again my former both accounts.

The other both by checking to get coneced to my Mail Provider works perfect.

I Used Windos 10 with the news updates and with the Mail Programm from windows 10 it is possible to sendt and received with both accounts myn test mail.

Although I do not have any problem to receive any mails to my accounts from my Email Provider Yahoo or my Android Smart Phone.

Welcome to our forum.

Please kindly understand that Office 2007 has actually reached the end of its support lifecycle, meaning there are no new security updates, non-security updates, free or paid assisted support options, or online technical content updates, it's recommended to upgrade to the later version of Outlook to get a better user experience.

Accoring to your description, the issue may be more related to your outlook client, due to the end of support, I couldn't test on the same environment with yours, as I know, the corrupted send/receive file or outlook data file may cause any send/recieve issue, have you tried to test on a new Outlook profile? If not, it's suggested to create a new Outlook profile and readd your accounts to check if the issue has any difference(Control Panel>Mail>Show Profiles>Add>readd your account)

If the issue still exists, it may caused by your corrupted outlook, please try to repair your Outlook client to check.

thank you for your quick respond concerning my Outlook 2007 Office issues.

Unfortunately I had been ill for a few days and could not work at the office Outlook 2007 problems.

I had forgotten to tell, that the same problems or issues had even ocoured at my Laptop with the same Windows 10 and Office 2007.

The Laptop were Off for over 10 days, and as I had tried to test, does Outlook send or receiving mails , same same issues, or Problem came out.

But it is curious, that on the main PC or the Laptop two other yahoo. acounts are still working with out any probelms at all.

Thanks for your update, have you tried to create a new profile and repair your Outlook to check?

Considering there are some accounts that could work normally on your client, in order to further confirm your issue, it's suggested to configure your account on other later version of Outlook to check if it has any differences(Outlook 2010, outlook 2016 or others).

Also, based on my research, there's an known issue about password prompt on windows 10 : Outlook and other apps won't remember password after Windows Updates, and it has been fixed in the Windows 10 update, February 2, 2021—KB4598291 (OS Builds 19041.789 and 19042.789) Preview (microsoft.com). So if you haven't install it, please try to update your windows to check.

thank you for all your Informations concerning my issues with Outlook.

I checked all my Windows up dates but i could not find this

February 2, 2021—KB4598291 Number

On the Windows Internet site I were looking for it but still not found it yet.

I opened the file for Outlook Profile, to see are there other profiles.

The only Profile is still Outlook.

I am scary to delete this Profile as maybe all Information save up on Outlook like Contacts or mails could be vanished for ever.

I had exported the PS data file from Outlook to a different hard disc to save it there.

Otherwise I had to wait till I wil be able to buy a new Office 2010 or 2016.

Actually, we could try to create a new profile and not delete the orginal profile to check, and it wouldn't lose your information.

Also, due to the end of support , Outlook 2007 may not have any security update now, which may cause any unknown issue, so it's indeed recommended to install a new version of Outlook to get a better user experience :)

I bought a new Office 2016, but i could not download the Office 2016 yet, because it is to large to get it in time through the internet.

I had to wait, till some of my friends will have the time to download over the link the Office 2016 on some memory stick.

In a couple of days I might be know more.
