Excel and Azure WVD (Remote Desktop) hidden dialog windows

We have deployed Microsoft Excel 2019 via the Azure WVD (Remote Desktop) platform. However, when we attempt to open files or access specific dialog windows, they are hidden or it makes it appear as Excel is frozen until you hit the "Esc" key. Are there specific settings to enable on the WVD server or was this an issue with the WVD (Remote Desktop) client?

Firstly, apologies for the delay in responding here and any inconvenience this issue may have caused.

Can you please confirm if it's RemoteApp?

Yes, we are using the Microsoft RemoteApp with a Windows 10 Virtual Machine for Remote Desktop applications. We then published the application onto the "Remote Desktop" (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/remote/remote-desktop-services/clients/remote-desktop-clients).
Once the client launches Excel from this manner and accessing the folders through OneDrive, the "Open" or "Browse" dialog remains hidden and it appears as if the Excel RemoteApp client is frozen. How do we force the RemoteApp to display these dialog windows properly to the user?

I also find that naming this client "Remote Desktop" is fairly confusing.
