Azure AD Connect migration from old version

Hello,

I am going to be transitioning from a Windows Server 2012 R2 box running an old version of Azure AD Connect to a new Windows Server 2019 box running the latest version of Azure AD Connect. Unfortunately, my old version of Azure AD Connect does not have the "View or Export Current Configuration" option. It only has "View current configuration".

Is there a configuration file or something that I can grab from the old server and move to the new one? My reading has taken me to a lot of PowerShell scripts and manual processes, and I'll go that way if I must, but I'd prefer to work smarter and not harder if I can.

Thanks,

Zachary Hamilton

Yea, lots of manual steps:

Personally :)
I would upgrade the current server to the latest version and keep it in staging mode.
Then export out the config

then import to the new server and make that active.
