Azure Stack: What type of network device is exposed to Azure Stack on-prem deployments

I am investigating porting a Accelerated Networking aware routing application from Azure to Azure Stack. I have read that Azure Stack does not support Accelerated Networking, but I have not found any further details on it's networking capabilities. In the absence of AN, does Azure Stack provide applications with other high speed networking options for on-prem deployments? For example, if I were to deploy Azure Stack on a hardware platform that had an NVIDIA (Mellanox) MCX4121A-ACAT, would I be able to enable SR-IOV, create VFs and pass those VFs through to a VM running my application similar to what I can do with HyperV today.

I doubt that this is supported, but it might be possible. I have reached out to a few people to confirm.

Was there any resolution? Is SR-IOV supported in Azure stack on prem?

For now it is not, as far as I am concerned. I was trying to implement it for my ITIL practice but haven't succeeded...
