Is VS for Mac 8.9 stable enough for general use?

I know VS for Mac 8.9 is still in preview, but I'm wondering if it is stable enough for general use yet. It's up to preview 4.1 already.

    Is VS for Mac 8.9 stable enough for general use?

    I’m afraid, VS for Mac 8.9 is not stable enough for general use, even if it’s up to preview 4.1. If it is stable enough, you will see the newly release version(8.9) released.

    If you want to use VS for Mac, I suggest you continue to use stable release. And you can also see the important tip from the official document: “This release is not “go-live” and not intended for use on production computers or for creating production code.”. But if you’d like to detect and try to use some new features of VS for Mac, I will recommend you have a try.
