MS Teams - contacts disappear

My contact list in MS Teams disappear from time to time. I created several groups.
Only a restart helps.
Is this problem known to others?

Does this issue persist all the time? Or what changes do you do before happened?

Does anyone else have the same issue?

Currently, this is not a known issue. I checked in my lab. It works properly.

You could log in Teams web client(https://teams.microsoft.com) to check if this issue exists.

Except restarting Teams, try to clear the client cache by deleting any files in the following folders and make sure the client is the latest version:

  • %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\application cache\cache

  • %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\blob_storage

  • %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\Cache

  • %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\databases

  • %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\GPUcache

  • %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\IndexedDB

  • %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\Local Storage

  • %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\tmp

OK will try clearing all temp files.

No, the two folders are different.
If no application folder, just deleting other folders.

Unfortunately the problem did not go away. It still happens about once a day.

If many users have the same issue as yours, you could contact IT admin to check if there is any related message of Microsoft Teams health status in Microsoft 365 admin center > Health > Service health.
