Deploy "mastered" apps using WDS

Hello,

I have a small amount of computers in which I want to automatize software deployment but I wonder if it is possible to deploy a software that the installation has already been done.

I know a huge amount of software are able to custom installation if they are in .msi extension if you provide silent install args but how to do it for specifics software that I want to custom the installation ?

Hi,

WDS enables you to deploy Windows operating systems over the network. We can use a custom install image with preinstalled applications.

If the installation has already been done, I think we need to create a new install image with customized software preinstalled then deploy the new image.

SCCM allows you to deploy a software when the installation has already been done. Users can use Software Center to request and install software that you deploy. For more information, please see What is Configuration Manager?

SCCM has better performance in large enterprise. In this scenario, we recommend MDT to you. For more information, please see Planning for Application Deployment
