Option "Create App Service Managed Certificate." in Azure missing

I have created an app service and a custom domain in Azure. I'm using price tier D1, which should support custom domains.

In order to have the domain secure a certificate is needed. According to the documentation (https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/updates/secure-your-custom-domains-at-no-cost-with-app-service-managed-certificates-preview/#:~:text=In%20the%20Azure%20Portal,%20head%20to%20your%20web,it%20on%20the%20list%20of%20Private%20Key%20Certificates.) this route should be possible to use for an app service: TLS/SSL settings > Private Key Certificates (.pfx) > Create App Service Managed Certificate.

The "Create App Service Managed Certificate" is not visible.

What configurations do I need to change in order to have this option available?

@Hakan-8363 Thank you for your question.

You are right that the D1 tier supports custom domains. Unfortunately though, the D1 tier does not support SSL bindings for the custom domain. In order to use an SSL certificate to secure your custom domain, you will need to use the basic tier or higher.

For more information on what features are available with each tier, please refer to this chart for more information.

Thank you for the information.

What is the minimum number of months for the B1 tier that I have to subscribe to? Where can I find this information?

Billing for app services is done on a per second basis. You can subscribe for as little as you need to.

You can scale up/down from a B1 to a D1 during periods when your site isn't being used but when you scale down, you will be required to remove your SSL binding from your custom domain.

The rate of billing and the pricing can be found here on this page. Please ensure you select the correct parameters such as region, OS type, and currency as these variables determine the cost of the app service.
